Shout out to Shelly Jaronsky with cookiesandcups.com for this week’s recipe. This week I’ve been going through a chocolate phase. Anytime I’m having a challenging week, I make time for baking. I had some free time today, so I decided to try a new recipe.
While searching through Pinterest, I found an intriguing recipe by Shelly— Oreo Cheesecake Cookies.
– Cream Cheese
– Salted Butter
– Crushed Oreo Cookies
Level of Difficulty: Super Easy!
The recipe took around 20-25 minutes altogether. It was extremely effortless to pull off. Luckily, I had all the ingredients at home so I did not have to go shopping either. All we did was mix the ingredients together. After, we used a cookie scooper to place them on a tray. The last step called to bake them for 10 minutes in a 350-degree oven.
I’ve never cooked any cheesecake recipes; furthermore, I never knew cheesecake was made of cream cheese. The end result was tasty. The texture reminded me of Subway’s cookies. The perfect drink to pair the cookies with was, of course, milk! If I were to do anything differently, I would add in extra oreo’s next time.
