Popcorn Recipe Done Two Ways

Popcorn Recipe Done Two Ways

A picture of popcorn that I took.

To begin, the movie Godzilla vs. Kong was released on HBO Max this past week. I always need a snack to eat during an intense movie, which tends to be popcorn. For this particular movie, I thought about spicing things up by making two different types of popcorn. I put together my own recipe and tried a recipe from Pinterest.

“Better Than Caramel Popcorn”

First, I found a popcorn recipe while clicking through pins on Pinterest. I saw good reviews in the comments so I tried this particular one. The recipe was extremely easy and ended up being a favorite of mine, especially because the popcorn was less sticky than caramel popcorn. I heated the sauce to a light brown. Then, I drizzled it onto the popcorn. Remembering to constantly stir the sauce as it is heating is very important. In the future, I would avoid popcorn with butter or salt on it.

  • Popcorn that has not been buttered or salted
M&M Popcorn

A few months ago, I tried a store-bought popcorn that had M&M’s and chocolate drizzled throughout. It seemed like a simple recipe to make at home; therefore, I decided to try it. Although it was not the exact taste of the store-bought, I think I did a good job. After I popped the popcorn, I laid it out onto a cookie sheet. Then, I drizzled melted chocolate and spread M&M’s on top. Once the chocolate dried, I put the popcorn in a bowl and served it.
